Education & Experience

​

As a specialist developmental editor with experience in both the traditional and indie spheres, I’ve edited a number of novels on Amazon’s best-seller list. I’m a staff editor with The Parliament House Press and a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association. I earned my BA in creative writing from SUNY Oswego and an MFA in writing popular fiction from Seton Hill University.

The Editor

I’m a Hufflepuff, a rabid tea guzzler, and have a habit of freestyle rapping while I’m doing chores. Don’t get your hopes up—I’m very bad at it.

When I’m not reading, editing, or writing, you can find me cozied up with Bibby the Black—feline editorial assistant in residence—watching Netflix or playing The Sims. And yes, I’m the type of Simmer who tells stories there, too.

​

Before I fully embraced my love of fiction, I studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston for two years. John Meyer studied there. Never saw him, though.

I spent a week in London and have plenty of photos of English pigeons, general fauna, and iconic London landmarks to prove it. Unfortunately, I was too proud to take touristy pictures or ride the double-decker bus.
