This level of editing involves an analysis of either your manuscript’s first 5,000 words, or the equivalent amount of planning materials for your newest idea. We’ll review your submission and provide feedback regarding your novel's most crucial elements. Together, we’ll identify its strengths and weaknesses and develop a detailed revision strategy.

For new clients and writers, this will help you pinpoint your novel’s potential pitfalls and put you on the road toward revising it into a stronger work. For returning clients with notes for their next big thing, we’ll give pointers for what to tweak to get the most out of your concept.

A mark-up of 5,000 words and an editorial letter addressing everything discussed above and more.

We charge a flat rate of $450.
